How it works
SRG actively manages the origination, negotiation, execution and monitoring of the non-recourse purchase of contracted receivables in the portfolio.
STEP 01
Two clubs (Selling Club and Buying Club) enter into a transfer agreement for the sale of a player with a defined payment schedule.
STEP 02
The Selling Club enters into a non-recourse Receivable Purchase Agreement with an institutional purchaser, who buys the receivables.
STEP 03
The purchase price is paid to the Selling Club once conditions precedent are met and the assignment is confirmed.
STEP 04
The Buying Club pays the assigned instalments directly to the institutional purchaser, per the calendar of payments in the transfer agreement.

Jonny Nye
Founder
Jonny brings over 30 years of experience at the intersection of sport and business. As Sports Marketing Director for EMEA at Nike, a role he held for 14 years, he built one of the most extensive networks in global sport, spanning clubs, players, brands, and governing bodies. He founded SRG Capital in 2009 and has since led the firm’s growth from specialist broker to institutional portfolio manager, structuring over €2.8 billion in football financing with zero financial losses.
Andrés Mendoza
Co-Founder
Andrés leads SRG’s origination and deal execution, with deep expertise across European and Latin American football markets. He has led the development of SRG’s financing partnerships and the structuring of the firm’s institutional funding lines. Alongside Jonny, he drives the firm’s overall strategy and its evolution into a technology-powered financing platform.
Jason Battles
Head of Sports Transactions
Jason has over a decade of experience in the football finance industry. He works closely with regional managers to ensure every transaction is structured, negotiated, and closed to the highest standard. Prior to SRG, Jason worked in the football finance teams at OLB and IBB.

Ben leads SRG’s origination, client relationships and deal execution across the UK market. Prior to SRG, he developed experience across wealth management, private markets and sports advisory. He holds a master’s in Finance from the London Business School.
Eduardo Rodríguez

Edu leads SRG’s origination, client relationships and deal execution across the Spain and LATAM (excluding Brazil) markets. Prior to SRG, he worked at a first division Spanish club in the Data & Analytics department. He holds a master’s in Football Administration from LaLiga.

Guillaume leads SRG’s origination, client relationships and deal execution across the Belgium, France, Italy, and broader European markets. Prior to SRG, he worked as an accountant at Vistaprint. He holds a master’s in Finance from the EAE Business School.

Ricardo leads SRG’s origination, client relationships and deal execution across the Brazil, Germany, Netherlands and Portugal markets. Prior to SRG, he worked at McKinsey & Company within the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. He holds a bachelor’s in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University.

Martin is a Staff Frontend Engineer with over 10 years of experience building products for startups and mid-size companies. He leads frontend development for Clutch, crafting the club-facing experience at the heart of the platform. Prior to SRG, he held senior frontend roles at Carismar and Nexus Point.
